30 day trial

The trial allows the person signed up to attend any group coaching sessions within their age group during the 30 day trial period and is valid for the one named person.

Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

The 30 day trial begins upon purchase of the trial unless stated otherwise by PB Tennis. 

The trial cannot be transferred to any other person including family members.  

There are no refunds or replacement sessions for any missed during the trial. 

Any individual is entitled to only one 30 day trial coaching pass.  

Whilst on the trial, the individual is subject to the regular coaching terms and conditions. 

LTA Youth Start & Amazon Prime Girls Courses

Once the course has started you cannot cancel your place on the course.

As these are 6 week set courses, if you miss a week then there is no opportunity to make up the missed session.

Your place cannot be transferred to any other person including family members. 

If a session is cancelled by PB Tennis for any reason (such as inclement weather, coach illness), then a replacement session will be added to the end of the course on the same day and time. 

All items included in the Youth Start / Amazon Prime Girls package are provided by the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) and will be posted directly from the LTA to the address you provide when booking and are yours to keep. PB Tennis holds none of these items and has no responsibility to replace these items nor has any responsibility for damaged items. 

Bookings

Bookings - General 

Please ensure you arrive on time for your session. Your session will finish at the time agreed prior to the session and will not continue after if you are late.

All bookings must be paid in advance of the session taking place.

Anyone found using discount codes incorrectly, including passing on to non-members, will be subject to paying the full amount. If repeatedly found incorrectly using, the individual will have their membership rights rescinded.

If any player does not adhere to rules or behave in a manner as outlined by PB Tennis or any of our venues, the individual(s) may be asked to leave. In this case they have no claim to any refund. 

Bookings - Coaching Plans

Your choice of coaching plan category on joining will determine the fees you pay. Our website sets out the coaching plan fees payable when you register for a PB Tennis Coaching Plan. 

PB Tennis has appointed the BACS Approved Direct Debit Bureau GoCardless (https://gocardless.com/) through TeamUp to collect your payments.

Coaching Plan fees are payable in advance by each player by direct debit agreement only. Fees are collected on the 1st / month, and fees remain in force unless cancelled.

If you join part way through a month, your first month’s payment will be prorated.

There is no joining fee. However, if you cancel your coaching plan and then wish to re-join within 12 months of that cancellation, a £20.00 re-joining fee will be charged. 

Coaching Plan subscriptions continue in force until the player decides to cancel or amend their subscription. Written advice of such cancellation or amendment of subscription should be sent to pete@pbtenniscoaching.com.

The coaching programme runs throughout the school term with holiday sessions being put on separately. Full dates can be seen on our website. 

To access coaching at your preferred venue you may be required to sign up for a venue Membership. Venue membership fees and any other fees applicable are payable either in advance by each player.

If your Bank fails to make a direct debit payment from your account when due, PB Tennis will write or email to advise you of this. An administration fee of £5 will be charged for each failed direct debit payment.

Coaching Plan fees and other fees are reviewed periodically. Subscription charges are as posted on the PB Tennis websites and may be varied by the management without notice. Direct debit subscribers will be given at least 10 working days written notice of any changes to their direct debit and coaching plan subscription.

Players will be refused entry if outstanding payment issues are not settled. Any payments outstanding 30 days after becoming due are liable for immediate recovery by lawful means.

Coaching Plans may be refused or rescinded with good reason at the discretion of the management at any time and admission to PB Tennis Programmes may also be refused to any member or their guest at the discretion of the management.

Coaching Plans are personal to the member and may not be reassigned / transferred / sold on or otherwise dealt with. Players who ‘lend’ their Coaching Plans to third parties will have their Coaching Plans rescinded without a refund. 

Bookings - Coaching Plan Termination

You may cancel your Coaching Plan at any time with 30 days notices. Written notice must be given by email to pete@pbtenniscoaching.com. We cannot accept verbal notice to amendments or cancellation to coaching plan subscriptions.

Written notice via email to pete@pbtenniscoaching.com is the only criteria accepted as confirmation of cancellation. In the event of a dispute, no member of staff or coach is authorised to give verbal confirmation of termination of membership.

A player who terminates their Coaching Plan will have no claim to any refund of their charge(s). A player whose Coaching Plan is terminated will forfeit all the privileges and benefits of the Coaching Plan.

If an amount is due on closure of an account, PB Tennis will write or email to advise you of this and request full and prompt payment. If an outstanding amount remains unpaid past 60 days, the balance will be liable for immediate recovery by lawful means.

If you cancel your coaching plan and then wish to re-join within 12 months of that cancellation, a £20.00 re-joining fee will be charged. 

If you cancel your coaching plan and rejoin, it will be at the current set of coaching fees at that time.

If you cancel and rejoin, there is no guarantee that your place in the same classes previously attended will be available.

Bookings - Coaching Plan Upgrades / Downgrades

You may upgrade or downgrade you membership at any time by emailing pete@pbtenniscoaching.com.

Should you choose to downgrade your membership then your place on any classes you no longer attend cannot be guaranteed to be held.

When upgrading or downgrading at any time your new coaching plan will be charged at the current rate of coaching, not any previous rate you had received.

Bookings - Pausing your coaching plan

Pausing your coaching plan is only available at the discretion of the management.

Pauses of up to one month will be considered.

If accepted, then your place on the same sessions will be reserved for your return.

Any pause lasting more than one month is considered a cancellation and will be subject to the termination terms and conditions.

Bookings - Coaching Plan Refunds

PB Tennis does not issue refunds to players due to absences out of our control, for example, illness, holidays, weather etc.

Players who miss sessions with no notice are not entitled to any refund or replacement session. 

In the event of missed sessions due to weather, coach illness, advanced notice of player being absent, players can attend a different coaching session to make up for a session lost. This is subject to availability and must be confirmed via booking onto the session.

Coaching plans are based on 44 weeks of coaching through the year. 2 weeks for Christmas break, and taking into account 5 weeks for any coach holiday, illness or sessions cancelled due to inclement weather. Refunds will only be available if more than 8 weeks of coaching do not run across a 12 month period.

In exceptional circumstances, the management (at their own discretion) can issue an account credit to the value of the session lost.

If a player becomes unable to attend coaching for a prolonged period (greater than one month) due to injury or holiday, then a payment holiday can be discussed with PB Tennis and will be offered at the discretion of the management and confirmed by email.

All players will be grouped according to their standard of play. PB Tennis cannot accept responsibility for players standards affecting the enjoyment and overall experience of any player. Whilst every effort will be made to make sure players have a great time, we cannot offer refunds of any kind if a player feels that the session(s) is not suitable for their level of play.

Bookings - One2one Coaching

One2one coaching bookings are subject to all general booking and relevant coaching plan booking terms and conditions.

If booking a block of 5 one2one lessons at the discounted rate, this must be paid before the start of the first lesson of the block. All blocks of 5 one2one lessons will start from the first lesson after the block of 5 has been purchased. Any sessions before this that are unpaid must be paid for at the standard per lesson rate. 

No refunds are given on one2one coaching packs. 

Bookings - Holiday Camps

Holiday camp bookings are subject to all general booking and relevant coaching plan booking terms and conditions.

No refunds are given on coaching packs. 

If you cannot attend due to illness you will be able to change that day to another day running subject to availability. 

Days run between 9am and 3.30pm. Players can be dropped off anytime between 8.15am and 9am, and picked up between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. 

Do not drop your child off before 8.15am or pick up after 4.30pm as they will not be supervised unless previously agreed with PB Tennis in writing via email to pete@pbtenniscoaching.com.

Competition bookings are subject to all general booking and relevant coaching plan booking terms and conditions.

Restringing

PB Tennis accepts no responsibility for any damages caused to rackets if posted to us.

Next Day service is from the day the racket arrives with PB Tennis. You will receive a confirmation email on the day that your racket has been received.

We do not offer any guarantee for how long the string will last before breaking as this is subject to the player, their style of play and how often they play. 

No refunds will be given for any restringing service. The management (at their discretion) can choose to give credit or redo the service in exceptional circumstances. 

Rackets will be returned to an agreed venue and time. Rackets can be returned to you by post. The cost for postal will be confirmed on request. 

Rackets

Free restrings are included on all full size rackets only. 

Demo rackets are subject to availability. 

Next day delivery is available on all stock rackets. Otherwise rackets are subject to a 7 day delivery. 

Clothing

Any items that are personalised are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

Personalised items or out of stock are all subject to a 14 day turnaround from ordering. 

Refer a Friend

To qualify for the refer a friend scheme, someone must make a purchase and input your unique member code when making their purchase.

Your account will then be credited with £10.00.

There are times where you may inform us of a friend referral by email. £10.00 credit can then be manually added by PB Tennis if that named player then makes a purchase. This is at the discretion of PB Tennis Management. 

Account Credit

Credit can be used against coaching purchases with PB Tennis. 

This includes: group coaching, one2one coaching, holiday camps.

If you have credit on your account and you are on a monthly payment plan, the credit will automatically come off your next month’s payment, unless you use your credit for another purchase before.

Credit cannot be used for: shop purchases, trips.
